- Yasmine El Tohamy - Zamalek were held to a 0-0 draw against Smouha in the Egyptian Premier League to get further away from the top three.

Zamalek asserted their dominance from the very start of the game and in the 29th minute Mostafa Mohamed nearly broke the deadlock with a volley however it was brilliantly saved.

The second-half didn’t see many clear cut chances from either side until the 86th minute when Mostafa Mohamed took a shot inside the 18 yard box before it got deflected by a Smouha defender.

The White Knights now sit fourth on the Egyptian Premier League table with 14 points in eight games. They will sixth-placed Entag El-Harby in their upcoming encounter on Tuesday December 4th.

Meanwhile Hossam Hassan’s men are now fifth with also 14 points and will face El-Gouna next game on December 25th.
