Farco’s football director, Atef Hanafi, spoke about the clause to activate the final purchase of Zamalek goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi from his club.
Hanafi said, during an intervention on the “Remontada” program, on Al-Mehwar channel: “Mohamed Sobhi loaned with the intention of selling for 5 million pounds, in addition to 20 million pounds when activating the purchase clause in the contract a week before the end of the league, and he leaves the matter of activating the purchase clause to the Board of Directors if he wants.”
Farco’s football director concluded his statements by saying: “Psychologically, Sobhi feels comfortable and performs well. He is a great goalkeeper, focused and has a very big ambition, and he is one of the goalkeepers who has a future in Egypt.”
Farco had announced in mid-September his contract with Mohamed Sobhi, coming from the ranks of Zamalek on loan, with a clause in the eligibility to purchase.
It is reported that Sobhi participated last season 2020/2021 on loan from Zamalek to Al Ittihad of Alexandria.
