A dispute erupted between the Tunisian Moein Al-Shaabani, the coach of the Al-Masry Al-Portsaidi team, and Ahmed Refaat, the team player, against the background of the player’s insistence on living alone in a separate room in the Al-Masry club camp, which Al-Shaabani rejected as a distinction between the players in the same team.

Rifaat demanded the independence of a single room in the residence hotel, instead of associating with another player in one room, as is customary for all players, and Rifaat adhered to this request, which he used to meet with the former coach, Ali Maher.

Al-Shaabani assured the player that this distinction would spread a bad spirit among the other players in the team, asking the player to comply with the instructions of the technical staff and be in a double room, but the player refused to respond to Al-Shaabani.

Hassan Ammar, a member of the board of directors of the Egyptian club, announced that the technical staff of the team, led by Moeen Al-Shaabani, decided to permanently exclude Ahmed Refaat from the list of the team traveling to Uganda to meet the Ugandan resource authorities in the 32nd round of the African Confederation for the next season, scheduled for October 16.
