Al-Ahly opened its career in the Arab Club Basketball Championship with a big victory over Hadramout, in the third group competition.

Al-Ahly defeated the people of Hadramout with a score of 124-69, in the match that was held between them this evening at Al-Ittihad Hall in Alexandria, as part of the first round of the third group competitions in the Arab Basketball Club Championship.

Al-Ahly won the first period in his favour, with a score of 35-17, and the team continued to dominate the match and settled the second period and the first half in his favour, with a score of 67-31.

Al-Ahly team widened the difference with the people of Hadramout Al-Yamani after resolving the third period with a big score of 103-44, before the red team finished the match in his favour, with a score of 124-69.

Next Sunday, Al-Ahly will meet Wedad Boufarik at seven in the evening, while the Yemeni team, Shaab Hadramout, will meet the Saudi League at one in the afternoon on Sunday.

Al-Ahly will conclude its matches in Group C by facing the Saudi Al-Fateh next Monday at five in the evening, while the people of Hadramout will meet with Algerian Wedad Boufarik at three in the evening.

The top two teams from each group qualify for the quarter-finals.
