The Tunisian international, Fakhreddine Ben Youssef, who recently joined the ranks of Pyramids, revealed that he had received unofficial contacts from Al-Ahly and Zamalek to contract with him.
The former Ismaili player spoke on Tunisian “Radio Mosaique”, saying: “There were non-match contacts with Al-Ahly and Zamalek, but the Pyramids offer was serious and the conversations with its officials were clear from the beginning.”
Fakhr El-Din Ben Youssef added: “My move to Pyramids will allow me to achieve my main goals, and to be regularly with the Tunisian national team in the coming period.”
The 30-year-old moved to Pyramids during the current summer transfer period in a free transfer deal after the end of his contract with Ismaily.
Fakhr El-Din Bin Youssef participated with Al-Ismaili last season by (31 matches), in which he managed to score 11 goals, the last of which was against Al-Ahly in the Egyptian WE League.
