Thank you for reading the news about Galatasaray not worried of losing Mostafa Mohamed and now with the details
Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Galatasaray SK vice-president Abdurrahim Albayrak has disclosed the club’s stance from the interest the team striker Mostafa Mohamed is starting to gather following his brilliant start in Turkey.
Mohamed joined Galatasaray on a one-and-a-half loan deal from Zamalek with an option to buy and hit the ground running in the Turkish Super Lig.
The 23-year-old has now four goals in four games in Turkey, with an average of a goal every 79 minutes.
And according to reports, Galatasary have reached an agreement with Mostafa for a new five-year contract, which will include a €25 million release clause.
Mohamed’s tremendous displays for the Turkish giants caught the eyes of other European clubs like Crystal Palace.
“Nobody should be worried regarding Mostafa Mohamed. Galatasaray will acquire him permanently if we pay $4 million by July 2022,” Albayrak told Turkish newspaper Milliyet.
“We can pay this fee today or tomorrow. Even if another forward goes forward and offered Zamalek more than $4 million they won’t manage to sign the player.”
“Everyone enjoys watching Mostafa play even though he just arrived at the club. He is not only a very good footballer but he is a characteristic athlete.”
“He will wear the Yellow and Red shirt for many years, nobody should doubt that,” he added.
Galatasaray hold the right to redeem Mohamed permanently for $4 million, having signed him on a year-and-a-half loan for $1.5 million.
