Dubai - Yasmine El Tohamy - Cairo giants Zamalek are considering to put the first team’s shirt on sale in order to support the club financially and collect the necessary money to fund the squad, according the club vice-president Hesham Ibrahim.
Zamalek have been going through a financial crisis ever since the former club board, led by Mortada Mansour, was suspended and left the club with big financial burdens to resolve.

“The idea of putting the team’s shirt on sale is being studied and is viable in the coming period,” Ibrahim told Zamalek TV.
“We thank Zamalek fans for offering several ideas to back and support the team. We will get the necessary legal consents in order to put the team’s shirt on sale.”
“We want to extend Sassi’s deal. If his desire wasn’t the same he would have already signed a pre-contract with another club. We just need to find an agreement that pleases Ferjani financially and suits our current financial situation.”
