South African giants Mamelodi Sundowns have saluted Al Ahly for reaching the 2020 Club World Cup semi-finals.

The Reds have qualified for the semi-finals of the 2020 Club World Cup after beating hosts Al Duhail 1-0, thanks to Hussein El-Shahat’s strike.

In the 30th minute, Walter Bwalya stole the ball from Karim Boudiaf just outside the penalty area and passed it to Hussein El-Shahat, whose low-driven shot hit the back of the net.

The Reds now will face European champions Bayern Munich in an almost impossible task in the semi-finals of the tournament on Monday, February 8.

South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns have made sure to congratulate the Reds for their achievement and send them a message of support ahead of the Bayern Munich clash.
