Liton Das is the best ODI batsman of the year en

Corona has played only 44 ODIs in 2020. In 42 of which there have been victories and defeats. One match was tied and abandoned.

And Bangladesh has played only 3 out of these 44 matches. And after playing three matches, Bangladesh’s Liton Das has left all the batsmen in the world behind.

He has the personal highest run innings. This year Liton Das has scored 18 runs in one innings. Which is at the top of the list of the year.
Another Bangladeshi is in the second position. Dashing opener and Bangladesh ODI team captain Tamim Iqbal. He collected 156 runs in one innings. Sterling of the Paul Ireland team showed surprise. He finished third with 142 runs in a match against strong England.

Aussie star Steve Smith came in fourth with 131 runs in an innings in the recently concluded ODI series against India.

There is one more surprise in the fifth place. Namibia’s Craig Williams is ranked fifth in the list after scoring an unbeaten 129 against Oman, leaving behind the world’s best batsmen.

South Africa’s Janeman Malan has written his name next to Williams with an equal run. Apart from Liton-Tamim, no other batsman could score 150 runs in 2020.
Bangladesh played a three-match ODI series against Zimbabwe in March this year.

In the second match of that series, Tamim Iqbal played an innings of 156 runs with 20 boundaries and three sixes. Which was the highest individual run record in ODIs for Bangladesh till that day.

In the next match, Liton Das set the record of Tamim by playing an extraordinary innings of 18 runs. He had 18 fours and 6 sixes in that innings.

Tamim and Liton’s innings in two consecutive matches were the two highest individual innings in ODI cricket in 2020.
