A dramatic Sunday for Elena Dhont. The Red Flame sustained a serious knee injury during the match between FC Twente and PSV.
The captain of Twente kicked the goal of the team of fellow Red Flame Julie Biesmans around minute twenty. In doing so, Dhont twisted her knee and fell down and screamed in pain. When teammate Kiki van Es went to have a look, the Dutch started to cry spontaneously.
