The Confederation of African Football (CAF) announced that the draw for the African Champions League and Confederation Championships will be held next Monday, without the presence of any club representative.
The CAF said in a brief statement that the draw for the preliminary rounds of the African Champions League and the Confederation will be at 12 noon Cairo time next Monday.
The draw will be held closed via video in the presence of all members of the Organizing Committee for Club Championships, and closed without the presence of any representative of the clubs.
The preliminary round of the CAF and Confederation Champions League kicks off with the first preliminary round on November 27.
Al-Ahly and Zamalek will play the final of the African Champions League on Friday, November 27th at Burj Al Arab Stadium in Alexandria, while Nahda Borkan won the Confederation title for the 2019-2020 season by beating Pyramids.
Egypt will be represented by Al-Ahly and Zamalek in the CAF Champions League, Pyramids and Arab Contractors in the Confederation, but some clubs will be exempt from participating in the first preliminary round.
