Al-Nasr Saudi Football Club announced that it has submitted a legal memorandum to the AFC’s Appeals Committee regarding the team’s match against Persepolis in the semi-finals of the Champions League.

Al-Nasr stated, through his official account on the “Twitter” site for social networking, today, Tuesday, that he had lifted his memo after learning the merits of the legal committee’s decision, which refused to protest against the eligibility of registering a number of Iranian Persepolis players.

Persepolis had qualified for the final match of the AFC Champions League, after defeating Al-Nasr 5/3 on penalties, after the match ended in a 1-1 draw.
