“I made my own Melbourne Cup this year and made a big banner to bring the color and fun of Flemington into my house,” she said.

“I have balloons and streamers and a huge amount of food.

Kaitlin Little and nine friends – the maximum number of people allowed in any Victorian pub booking – enjoyed mimosas and champagne at The Boatbuilders Yard on the Yarra River in South Wharf.
