Earlier this week the CIES (International Center for Sports Studies) compiled and published a list of the most valuable players born after 2000.
An algorithm was used to decipher the most expensive Generation Z gamer, whose identity may come as a surprise to many.
At the top of the list are Bayern Munich and Canadian sensation Alphonso Davies after being valued at a whopping 162 million pounds.
Unsurprisingly, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho comes in second with a value of £ 112million.
Sancho’s English teammates, Mason Greenwood and Bukayo Saka, occupy fifth and seventh place on the list. The respective values of £ 104m and £ 84m are assigned to the aces of Manchester United and Arsenal.
Manchester City’s Phil Foden ranks ninth on the list with a value of £ 63m while Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi ranks 14th with a value of £ 42m.
