The eels, tigers and bulldogs appear to be the most likely landing spots for Penrith winger Josh Mansour after being informed earlier this week that he will not be re-signed beyond his current contract, which will expire at the end of next season.
The 30-year-old is now set to hit the market in search of a new club for 2022 and beyond, and it seems that rivals Eels and Tigers in west Sydney and the rebuilt Bulldogs are the three most likely targets.
Parramatta has a handful of top 30 spots left and wants to add strength and depth to its backline. Current winger Blake Ferguson is out of contract after next season and the club is unlikely to offer him a new deal.
The Tigers are confident Josh Addo-Carr will officially make a signing, but should the storm flier stay in Melbourne – or join the Bulldogs – they will be in the strike force market as well. It’s similar with the Bulldogs, who are still into Addo-Carr but could hunt Mansour if they can’t land the Foxx.

Adam Keighran is in talks with the heavyweight club and will sign a two-year deal this week.
The 23-year-old Australian schoolboy representative was lured across the Tasman in 2019 and selected for the Sharks for the first time in half after Shaun Johnson, only to be incapacitated after his first three NRL games.
Keighran’s usefulness has drawn the roosters to him. He can play in the halves, centers and school boys at the castle. He’s also a very practical scorer – a duty Kyle Flanagan had before he was fired from the club.
There was late interest from the Raiders too, but Foxsports.com.au expects Keighran to sign with the Roosters by the end of the week.

ADD EEL TO HAKER STOCKS
While still with the Warriors, the Eels almost signed Nathaniel Roache for a development contract.
The 24-year-old hooker had been looking for a new club ever since the Warriors told him he wouldn’t be offered a new deal.
Roache made his debut in 2016 but has only lined up 26 NRL games. He has had eight surgeries since his debut and missed the entire 2018 season for surgery on his back.
He had knee reconstruction and ankle surgery last year, but after fully recovering, failed to break into the top 17 of the warriors.
Roache’s addition will follow hooker Joey Lussick’s signature.
