The Quants reckon they will back Sir Dragonet to win and a trifecta based on the above six horses, collectively what they call the top quartile.
They reckon that it is also worth paying attention to the “tail risk” in the financial markets this year and are considering hedging their exposure with a few small bets on horses at the end of their model – Oceanex, Mustajeer, Dashing Willoughby, Warning and the like.
