2020 Italian Open wallet, winners share, prize money payout

The purse for the Italian Open 2020 is set at 1,000,000 euros. The winners’ share is 156,825 euros – not the standard payout of 16.67 percent according to the European Tour’s prize money distribution table.

The Italian Open field is directed by Matt Wallace, Guido Migliozzi and Lee Westwood.

The Italian Open is the 17th event to resume the European Tour season and marks the beginning of a Mediterranean swing.

The event will be held at the Chervò Golf Club in San Vigilio di Pozzolengo, Italy.

In addition to the money, there are important points, advantages and advantages for the field – especially the tournament winner.

The winner receives 24 official golf world ranking points. The points available are based on the designation of this event as the flagship of the European Tour.

Winning brings other great benefits, including more than two seasons exemption for the European Tour, as well as berths for other major events.

A total of 2,000 Race to Dubai points are offered for the entire field. The points offered refer to the tournament wallet, expressed in US dollars (USD).

The winner will receive 335 Race to Dubai points, with players collecting the 36 hole cut points.
