BOMBERS STARS AT ALTERNATIVE ENDS
Midfield star Merrett’s name started circulating when the trade rumors surfaced. This was a shocking addition to the list of stars on the table.

Jordan de Goey has become a hot ticket on the trading table lately as the Collingwood star’s future is in the air.
The Pies have negotiated with several of their own star players to re-sign and try another final climb.
De Goey is the last known gamer to sign with the pies standing in front of a bloated salary area to get the job done.
But although the Mercury Star is reportedly chasing up to $ 1 million annually for a new deal, the star is likely to remain black and white.
His father, who works as a manager for his 24-year-old son, reportedly told two rivals that he would not go anywhere for at least two years.
“I understand that Jordan De Goey’s management, especially his father, has announced to two clubs I know this week that he will be with Collingwood for two years ahead of his freelance agency,” Tom Browne told Seven News.
“So if someone doesn’t fall – Carlton certainly didn’t knock, as De Goey might have liked – it means De Goey is now most likely staying in Collingwood and getting involved again for two years before returning to his freelance agency.
“His father, his manager, certainly suggests that this week.”
