Milan beat Inter 2: 3 Season 2003/04 in Serie A | Cycle 22

The proud European champions were a much better team than their rivals and wanted to win their first Scudetto since 1999/00, but when Inter led 0-2 the black-and-blue fans felt that this was it – the frustrating streak in the derby was over for him. A black streak of ten black derbies (including two Champions League clashes, in the semi-finals in 2002/03 and 2004/05 in the quarter-finals with the famous picture of Marco Materazzi and Roy Costa) was interrupted. Hero? Adriano, who ended his career tragically but in those days was one of the best and most exciting players in Serie A. Inter beat Milan 3: 4 2006/07 season, Serie A| Ninth cycle

The corruption scandal in Italy significantly changed Serie A and Inter were of course the main beneficiaries.
