Jadon Sancho joins Manchester United star Mason Greenwood and five other Premier League players on the 2020 Golden Boy Award shortlist.

Callum Hudson Odoi from Chelsea, Phil Foden from Manchester City and Bukayo Saka from Arsenal are the other English players who qualified for the gong and were named best U21 player of the year.

The newcomers of the Premier League, Ferran Torres and Fabio Silva, are also on the shortlist.

Along with Erling Haaland, Alphonso Davies and Ansu Fati, Sancho is one of the favorites to receive the award.

Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix won last year with previous winners like Kylian Mbappe, Raheem Sterling, Lionel Messi and Wayne Rooney.

This year’s edition started with a list of 100 nominees before it was reduced to the 20 still controversial players through public voting. A winner will be announced before the end of the year.
