CROWS LEADING THE RACE FOR FANTASIA

It’s a two-team race for the services of bomber Orazio Fantasia.

So far, however, it is likely that Adelaide will be the club of choice for the contracted striker.

“It has been talked about for two or three years, and he withdrew at the end of last year. It looks like it’s going to happen now, ”said Adelaide Advertiser journalist Reece Homfray AFL Tonight from Fox Sports News.

“I think Adelaide would definitely be the front runner. Port Adelaide football manager Chris Davies held a media conference two weeks ago and said that he has never spoken about anyone he actually hasn’t spoken to more than Orazio Fantasia.

“If Port Adelaide doesn’t work smartly behind the scenes, I think Crows is definitely the front runner. Crow’s Footy Manager Adam Kelly put it on the agenda today.

“Fantasia has a connection to Port Adelaide through Nathan Bassett who is an assistant coach. I’ve played under him at Norwood and I’m not sure how close that is. But Adelaide would have the room and the room to take him home and to West Lakes next year. ”

HAWKS VETERAN HAS A BIG DECISION TO MAKE

Hawthorn veteran Isaac Smith is considering leaving the Rebuilding Club out of the interests of rival clubs.

Melbourne is one of those clubs interested in Smith. Damian Barrett states that the three-time Premier player is aiming for a three-year deal.

“He’s thinking about it (continues),” Barrett continued Triple Ms rush hour.

“What he can do. He has that status, Melbourne is excited to see and further explore the opportunities around him. They like what Langdon brought to their mix and double up with someone in Smith’s class on that wing piece of the floor.

“The dilemma for her, however, is that he will be 32 years old and possibly aim for a three-year contract. It’s a big commitment for someone of that age.

“If you can work it back two years, I think it brings it into play.”

Barrett also outlined the uncertainty surrounding Jack Gunston.

“The other aspect of the Hawthorn reasoning… is the one that is still unknown to Jack Gunston. He has yet to publicly confirm that he will remain a hawk, ”he said.

“I don’t hear anything he wants out of it. But as we know, when you hit this stage of the season and have someone of that caliber who is not contractually committed, it increases the opportunities around them. ”

Foxfooty.com.au Last month, Collingwood, who is looking for a key striker, had registered an interest in Gunston.

Hawthorn is determined to keep the 28 year old who Championdaten Gunston is happy to stay too. He is considered to be the third best striker after Charlie Dixon and Tom Hawkins in 2020.
