In the 72nd minute, Sarr capitalized on a defensive error by Liverpool as he fed Deeney for Watford’s third goal of the evening.
Despite their defeat, Liverpool remain top of the Premier League table with 79 points after 28 games played.
Their next game will be on Tuesday at Stamford Bridge as Liverpool take on Chelsea in the FA Cup’s fifth round. Kick-off takes place at 21:45 CLT.
