Egypt international striker, Ahmed Hassan Kouka, watched as Greek champions Olympiacos qualified for the UEFA Champions League group stage after beating Cyprus’ AC Omonia.

Kouka was benched for the full 90 minutes, watching his side’s dull yet important 0-0 draw against AC Omonia.

Olympiacos entered the game as favourites after winning 2-0 at home in the first leg last week.

Just four minutes into the game Morocco International Youssef El-Arabi found himself in a one on one situation after pinpoiny through ball from Mathieu Valbuena. However, his shot saved by Brazilian goalkeeper Fabiano.

In the 19th minute Mady Camara intercepted a weak defensive pass and gave it to Lazar Ranđelović who’s shot just went wide.

Their first chance of the second-half came in the 65th minute when El-Arabi received the ball again inside the penaltya area but the keeper managed to parry it.

In the 80th minute El-Arabi took yet another shot but it was easily handled by Fabiano, who continued his heroics after saving Randelovic’s close range attempt less than an a minute later.

Olympiacos will now be placed in either Pot 3 or Pot 4 of the Champions League draw, set to take place on Thursday, October 1st at 5pm Cairo time.
