- Yasmine El Tohamy - Al Ahly manager Rene Weiler has named his 20-man squad for their clash against Enppi in the Egyptian Premier League’s return.

The league returned on Thursday after a five-month coronavirus pause with Zamalek defeating Al Masry 1-0.

The Red Devils manager Rene Weiler decided to include Ahmed El-Sheikh and Ayman Ashraf who were both a doubt for the Enppi game.

Meanwhile, Ramadan Sobhi is set to miss out on Sunday’s clash after the club failed to resolve his contract issues with Huddersfield Town.

The 23-year-old’s loan contract with Al Ahly expired on June 30th with the club announcing that they are in advanced talks with Huddersfield over the purchase of Sobhi.

Al Ahly host Enppi on Sunday in their first Egyptian Premier League game since March. Kick-off takes place at 20:00 CLT.
