Liverpool left-back, Andy Robertson, excluded his teammate Mohamed Salah from his dream five a side team to annoy the Egyptian.

Robertson and Salah played a huge part in Liverpool’s success over the past three years, helping the Reds lift the UEFA Champions League and Premier League title along the way.

And while the Scotland international was asked to chose his dream five aside team he chose many players from the current Liverpool squad but omitted the Egyptian.

“Alisson (Becker) in goal for obvious reasons, you’re not getting any better than him,” he .

“Virgil van Dijk at the back, you can’t get by him at 11-a-side never mind five-a-side, there’s not a chance.

“I’ll play a diamond and will go Bobby Firmino, technically one of the best players I’ve ever played with. Five-a-side suits him to a tee, he’d be perfect for that.

“I would put in Jordan Henderson. Technically he is one of the most underrated players I’ve ever worked with. People never question his hard work and all that, but when I first went into Liverpool he blew me away. Hendo technically is expectional.

“Then I will go with the boy who plays in front of me, Sadio Mane. He brings a bit of pace, he brings the goals.”

“But really, me and Sadio have a fantastic relationship. As long as I give him the ball, he’s happy. As long as I do overlaps, he’s happy, but I don’t get much back.

“He actually calls me ‘decoy’ at Melwood – he doesn’t even know what it means! Sadio is one of the best in the world,” he concluded.

Liverpool still have two games to go before the end of the current season. They will first host Chelsea at Anfield on July 22nd before traveling to Saint James’ Park four days later to face Newcastle United.
