Besiktas have resolved their issue with Egypt international Mohamed Elneny over his unpaid wages, according to Turkish reports.

Elneny has had issues with Besiktas regarding his wages with Turkish media reporting that the midfielder did not receive any of his financial dues since October of last year.

It was also reported that Elneny was owed a total of €1.3 million but Besiktas are unable to pay this amount due to the current economic circumstances caused by the outbreak of COVID-19.

This led the 28-year-old to threaten the club to not play any of their remaining games until the end of the season.

However, a report last month confirmed that Besiktas paid Elneny half the amount he is owed, convincing the Egyptian to remain part of their lineup this season.
