Thank you for reading the news about Esperance announce squad for Zamalek clash and now with the details
Tunisian giants Esperance Sportive de Tunis have released their 22-man squad for their CAF Champions League clash against Zamalek.
Esperance suffered a 3-1 defeat to the Egyptian side in the CAF Super Cup two weeks ago and will be looking to take their revenge when they face the Whites yet again in the Champions League quarter-finals.
The first game is set to take place on Friday in Egypt with the second leg taking place a week later in the Tunisian capital.
The squad surprisingly saw the inclusion of Maher Ben Sghaier who was ruled-out of the game after twisting his ankle. While Hamdou Elhouni made his return after recovering from his injury.
However the likes of Taha Yassine Khenissi and Sameh Derbali didn’t make the cut after suffering long term injuries. Derbali got a muscle injury during the Super Cup game, sidelining him for two weeks while Khenissi twisted his ankle, keeping him out for 21 days.
