Joao Felix, Ryan Giggs, Romelu Lukaku and Miralem Pjanic have been confirmed as guests for this month’s Dubai Globe Soccer Awards.

The quartet was among a raft of names announced on Wednesday for the December 29 event, which takes place at Madinat Jumeirah. Lucy Bronze, Amandine Henry and Sara Gama were also confirmed as the awards recognise for the first time the women’s game.

Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah, top scorer in last season’s Saudi Pro league as Al Nassr clinched the title, will be in attendance too, alongside former Manchester United defender Mikael Silvestre and current France manager Didier Deschamps. The Frenchman led his country last year to the Fifa World Cup crown.

Meanwhile, the award for Best Men’sPplayer has been shortlisted to four: this year’s winner Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona rival Lionel Messi, and Liverpool pair Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk.

Atletico Madrid teenager Felix is nominated for Best Revelation, together with RB Salzburg’s Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund’s Jadon Sancho and Barcelona’s Ansu Fati.
