So, how soon can it happen?
For Liverpool fans looking to party like they did in 1990 (or when they won the Champions League last season), they should turn their calendars to March.
As it stands, both Liverpool and City have played 25 matches each of the 38-game season.

By simply winning six more matches between now and the end of the season. That way it doesn't matter what Manchester City do as they won't be able to catch them.
If they do keep winning, they could be title winners on March 21 when they face Crystal Palace at Anfield even if City win all of their matches between now and then.

Indeed. Firstly, they could be crowned the earliest winners of a Premier League title - a record currently held by Manchester United who won it on April 14 in 2000-01.
Then they could break the record for biggest title-winning margin which is held by Manchester City with 19 points in 2017-18.
