- Yasmine El Tohamy - Al Ahly manager Rene Weiler has named his 19-man squad for their clash against Misr El-Makkasa in the Egyptian Premier League.

The Red Devils defeated FC Platinum 2-0 in the CAF Champions League on Saturday, thanks to a brace from Walid Soliman to top Group B.

Salah Mohsen is set to make his return to the squad for the first time after featuring in the 2019 U-23 AFCON with Egypt, where the Pharaohs won the tournament in November.

Rene Weiler has not included Junior Ajayi, who sustained a minor injury against FC Platinum on Saturday.

The 46-year-old’s list of absentees also includes Hussein El-Shahat as he is set to be rested.

Ayman Ashraf also missed out on the squad as he received a one-match suspension following Al Ahly’s game against Smouha last week for an accumulation of yellow cards.
