Today, Sheikh Abu Zakaria Yahya Al-Makki has passed to God’s mercy after he spent 70 years of his life in the corridors of the Grand Mosque, as a teacher and preacher, and had a prominent impact in the graduation of many students of knowledge.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque offered condolences on the death of the teacher at the Grand Mosque, Abu Zakaria Yahya al-Makki.

The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque stated that the disease did not prevent Sheikh Abu Zakaria, may God have mercy on him, from continuing his lessons during the global pandemic, deriving this from the path of giving that God Almighty honored him with during the past 70 years.

She added: His lessons covered the seven days of the week in the corners of the Grand Mosque, and he did not stop there except for satisfactory symptoms, and then he returned to expend knowledge and knowledge in its fountains, to which Muslims come from all over the world.

It is noteworthy that he was born in Makkah Al-Mukarramah and received knowledge from the scholars of the Grand Mosque, and the House of Hadith where he studied and graduated.

He worked as a teacher at Dar Al-Hadith Charitable Society from 1377 AH to 1390 AH. Sheikh Abdullah bin Humaid called him to teach at the Institute of the Holy Mosque in Makkah, so he moved to the institute and worked as a teacher there.
