Arab Coalition: Two Houthi projectiles fell in southern Saudi Arabia, and...

The Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia announced the fall of two projectiles launched by the Houthis towards the Kingdom in the regions of Najran and Jazan, in the south of the country, injuring two people.

The alliance stated, in a statement carried by the official “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, that “a hostile projectile fell in one of the border villages in Najran, in an attempt to target civilians,” adding: “There are no casualties or damage to a vehicle belonging to a citizen, and we will take immediate measures to neutralize threats and protect civilians.”

Later, the coalition reported that a hostile projectile had fallen on an industrial workshop in the city of Samtah in the Jazan region.

He pointed out that a preliminary report stated that “two civilians were injured in the deliberate attempt to target civilians and in response to the threat.”

“We are in the process of carrying out air strikes to deal with the source of the threat,” the coalition stressed.

Saudi Arabia is subject to continuous attacks by the Houthis, using missiles, projectiles and drones, which the kingdom says target residential areas in violation of international law.
