The General Directorate of Saudi Passports confirmed that the employer who enables his workers to work for others or for their own account, will be subject to a fine of up to (100,000) riyals, deportation if he is an expatriate, and imprisonment for up to six months.
The Passports Directorate added that the ban on recruitment is for a period of up to five years, stressing that the fines vary according to the number of people.
The directorate called for reporting violators of the residency and border security regulations.
