The Japanese ambassador to the Kingdom, Iwai Fumi, announced that he and his wife left Riyadh and returned to Japan last Sunday for routine medical examinations.
Fumi responded to a follower’s question about why the ambassador and his wife did not conduct their examinations in the Kingdom’s hospitals, explaining that his return to Japan for the examinations came on the instructions of the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
He also responded to another follower’s comment regarding his confidence in the Kingdom’s hospitals, stressing that he has every confidence in the Kingdom’s hospitals.
