The Council of Ministers, during its session held today, Tuesday, by visual communication, headed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, agreed to extend the soft mortgage program for a period of 3 years, starting from the end of the period stipulated in Cabinet Resolution No. (391) and the date of 7/17/1439 AH.
The council also agreed to transfer the competence to issue certificates of origin for all national products from the Ministry of Commerce to the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources.
During the session, the Council agreed to amend the rules regulating the work of the National Committee for Geographical Names – issued by Cabinet Resolution No. 318 and dated 06/18/1439 AH – as stated in the resolution.
