The training facilities of the General Organization for Technical and Vocational Training in the Kingdom have begun verifying that workers in many specialized craft professions possess the skills necessary to perform them, as part of the vocational examination program.
The vocational examination program aims to ensure that the worker possesses the necessary skills, by performing practical and theoretical tests in his field of specialization, by examining professional workers in their countries before their arrival in cooperation with international examination centers, and examining professional workers currently in the Kingdom in cooperation with local examination centers. Facilities will be obligated to conduct the examination in the new specializations.
The Director of Technical and Vocational Training in Riyadh, Abdul Rahman Al-Muqbel, explained that this step aims to serve the community in terms of verifying that the owner of the profession possesses the necessary skills to perform his work.
He indicated that the applicant’s test is carried out in proportion to his profession, with practical and theoretical tests compatible with that profession, which gives high reliability to those who pass this test successfully.
