An official source in the Ministry of Interior stated that it is a reference to what was previously announced, regarding the suspension of travel to and from a number of countries in the world, and based on continuous monitoring of the epidemiological situation locally and globally, and regarding any epidemic risks in any of the countries.
And based on what the competent health authorities have submitted about the developments of the emerging Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic, and the extent of the stability of the epidemiological situation in all countries of the world, it was decided to stop the suspension of entry to the Kingdom through land, sea and air ports, as of 11:00 a.m. on the day Wednesday, Safar 1, 1443 AH, corresponding to September 8, 2021 AD, from the following three countries:
– United Arab Emirates.
– Republic of South Africa.
Argentine Republic.
And allow citizens to travel to the countries referred to.
The source stressed the importance of adhering to all the precautionary and preventive measures adopted.
He explained that all procedures and measures are subject to continuous evaluation by the competent health authorities in the Kingdom, according to the developments in the epidemiological situation in the world.
