Prince Fahd bin Mansour bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Young Entrepreneur Union Summit 2020 and President of the Young Entrepreneur Federation, confirmed a package of initiatives to be presented to the G20 leaders’ meetings.
He explained during a press conference held yesterday in Riyadh, that the Kingdom will hypothetically host this week the Young Entrepreneurs Federation Summit 2020, with the participation of more than 700 prominent entrepreneurs from around the world, in a gesture that enables those interested in entrepreneurship to discuss their challenges. Prince Fahd added to Asharq Al-Awsat that the Young Entrepreneur Union summit will discuss the challenges and risk tolerance of entrepreneurship in facing crises. Sessions will be held on the impact of entrepreneurship on the economy, current trends affecting entrepreneurs, as well as cross-border entrepreneurship, and building a system A successful environmentalist for entrepreneurship, among other sessions aimed at shedding light on the resilience of global entrepreneurship and generating investment opportunities in the face of the challenges facing youth innovation.
The President of the Entrepreneur Union pointed out that youth business activities have positive repercussions on the economic and social aspects of the countries, prompting the union to make redoubled efforts to contribute to their roles concerned with the prosperity and progress of societies. Prince Fahd touched on the program of the Young Entrepreneurs Union Summit 2020, which is under the G20 summit, indicating that it will hold its work and sessions the day after tomorrow (Thursday), and will continue for two days, expressing the interest of the leaders of the G20 countries for the outcomes of the Entrepreneur Summit, for the great and hoped-for role. Especially since it is one of the informal communication groups of the G20 2020 chaired by the Kingdom.
The Federation of Young Entrepreneurs of the G20 countries, established in 2010, is the largest global network of young entrepreneurs with the facilities that support them.
The Federation’s secretariat provides support to a growing global network of thousands of emerging entrepreneurs in the 20 most important countries in the world, representing 90 percent of global gross product, as well as 80 percent of global trade volume, and two-thirds of the world’s population.
The Young Entrepreneur Union meets every year prior to the G20 Summit in the host country, to provide support by explaining the importance of young entrepreneurs to G20 member states throughout the year. The summit also enjoys various local and international partnerships, from the private and government sectors.
