The Saudi prince commented on this statement by saying in a tweet posted on Friday: “Therefore, I call on everyone for a complete popular boycott of Turkish products in order to maintain the stability and strength of Turkey’s economy.”

The Turkish president arrived in Doha on October 7, where he held talks with the Qatari leadership.

The trade balance between Saudi Arabia and Turkey is in favor of Ankara. According to ITC website data, the value of Saudi exports to Turkey in 2019 amounted to about $ 1.993 billion, compared to imports worth $ 3.084 billion.
