In detail, the Minister of Human Resources and Social Development, Eng. Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Rajhi, issued a decision to localize the professions of communication and information technology, and this decision applies to all establishments in the labor market in which 5 or more workers work in communications and information technology jobs, application development, programming and analysis, technical support and jobs Telecom Technical.
The Ministry aspires to provide 9,000 job opportunities in the field of communications and information technology, and to stimulate growth, and has set the wage calculated for the localization of targeted communications and information technology jobs, starting from 7.000 riyals for specialized professions and 5,000 riyals for technical professions.
This decision comes within a set of decisions to localize the professions that the ministry worked on, and an extension of the agreement for the nationalization plan for communications and information technology jobs that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development concluded with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the Human Resources Development Fund and the Council of Saudi Chambers, represented by the National Committee for Information and Communication Technology The aim is to enable the citizens of the communications and information technology graduates to obtain decent job opportunities, provide a suitable and stimulating work environment for them in the private sector, and enhance their work in the pivotal jobs to contribute to the development of the private sector.
