Al-Nawras Island is among the projects that aim to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030 according to the Humanization of Cities initiative to contribute to improving the quality of life in Jeddah Governorate, by raising the per capita share of green spaces and recreational areas and increasing the number of sports practitioners.
The idea of ​​the project was changed from hotel chalets that are operated by an international company, to a project and a tourist destination targeting all waterfront visitors, residents and visitors of the city of Jeddah, where Nawras Island will be linked with the waterfront.
The project extends along Al-Nawras Island with a walkway of 25 meters in width and a length exceeding 2000 meters in both directions, overlooking many restaurants, cafes, entertainment and artistic centers, in addition to a cinema, a marina for boats and a private beach for women, in addition to a health club and a games area, with the provision of multiple entertainment activities suitable for all Community groups and all age groups.
