The oldest evidence of human antiquities in Saudi Arabia

An international Saudi team found evidence of migrations to the Arabian Peninsula dating back more than 120,000 years ago in the Nafud desert on the outskirts of Tabuk. These evidence represent the oldest existence of hundreds of human and animal footprints in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This discovery was published by the “Science Advance” magazine, where the scientific team that conducted the archaeological survey confirmed the existence of evidence for these migrations in a dry lake in the north of the Kingdom. Prince Badr bin Abdullah, the Kingdom’s Minister of Culture, announced in an international press conference about this archaeological discovery, which shows the history and civilization of the ancient kingdom, as this discovery indicates the movement of people and their spread within the Arabian Peninsula at times when those current deserts were fertile farms. . The published scientific article explained the emergence of huge fossilized foot layers in the sediments of an ancient lake, as we mentioned before in the Nafud desert.
