JEDDAH — Saudi Arabia has announced the gradual resumption of Umrah and visits to the Two Holy Mosques with a limited number of domestic pilgrims starting from Oct. 4, 2020, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Tuesday citing a statement from the Ministry of Interior.

A total of 6,000 pilgrims from inside the Kingdom will be allowed to perform Umrah in a day as part of the first phase.

In the second phase, beginning on Oct. 18, 15,000 domestic pilgrims can perform the rituals in a day.

In the third phase, starting on Nov. 1, a limited number of pilgrims from inside and outside Saudi Arabia will be allowed to perform the rituals.
