TAIF — The Arabian horse show kicked off here Saturday evening wherein 20 horsemen presented their skills through various maneuvers that highlighted the pure breed of the animal and pride in their heritage.

The show, near the Al-Ruddaf National Park, is organized by Al-Jeaid Equestrian Center in cooperation with the Municipality of Taif governorate. It is part of Ministry of Tourism's Saudi Summer "Tanaffas" (Breathe) initiative, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. The initiative aims to promote domestic tourism employing strict safety protocols to protect tourists.

During their show, participants also presented the skills of picking a handkerchief from the ground riding the high speed and hypnotized horse. This and other skills simply mesmerized the visitors leaving them spellbound during the entire show.

The show concluded with the parade entitled “Thanks to the heroes – the health and military personnel” by horsemen carrying Saudi flag and saluting the audience.
