Hind Al Soulia - Riyadh - KYIV — Ukraine's chief prosecutor Ruslan resigned on Monday after anti-corruption authorities conducted searches at his offices as part of an investigation into alleged protection of fraudulent call centers.
In a statement on Telegram, he called his move a “political decision.”
Kravchenko thanked President Volodymyr Zelensky and the Verkhovna Rada, Ukraine’s parliament, for their trust and asked lawmakers to accept his resignation.

The money was then used to buy property, jewellery, and other valuables, according to Nabu.
Kravchenko released a statement on Sunday evening dismissing the allegations as "completely unsubstantiated", and denied any wrongdoing.
He tendered his resignation a day later. The Ukrainian president is yet to comment publicly on the resignation.
