BERLIN, July 26 — A suspected perpetrator of a car ramming attack on a crowd near Berlin’s Gay Pride has been “identified” but not yet arrested and is believed to have links to “Islamist circles”, a police spokesman said Sunday.

An abandoned vehicle was found a few hundred metres from the centre of the Pride festivities, and a manhunt was underway across the German capital, police spokesperson Florian Nath said. — AFP
