Sergey Aksyonov, the Russian-installed governor of Crimea, said four people were killed and 28 others injured on the Kerch Peninsula.

“Unfortunately, there have been civilian casualties as a result of the enemy drone attack on the Kerch Peninsula. Current information indicates four people have been killed and 28 injured,” Aksyonov wrote on Telegram.

He also announced that fuel stations across Crimea had suspended sales to the public, with supplies being reserved for essential state services.

“Fuel will only be dispensed to state services that ensure the vital activities and security of the Republic of Crimea,” he said.

In Russia’s southern Krasnodar region, local authorities said one person was killed and another injured after a Ukrainian drone struck a ferry crossing the Kerch Strait, which links Crimea and mainland Russia.

Regional officials said the attack sparked a fire at an oil terminal in the settlement of Chushka and announced the temporary suspension of ferry services across the strait.

Russia’s Defense Ministry said its air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 239 Ukrainian drones over eight regions, as well as above the Sea of Azov, the Black Sea and Crimea.

Ukraine’s General Staff said it struck an oil terminal in Kerch, causing a fire at what it described as “one of the key facilities for transshipment and storage of fuel and lubricant materials in Crimea.”

The Ukrainian military also said its strikes caused a fire at Port Kavkaz in the Krasnodar region, describing the facility as an important logistics hub used to support Russian military operations.

“Last night, our long-range sanctions targeted the occupiers’ military logistics, oil industry, and air defense. All of this is a just response to Russia’s brutal attacks against our people,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on the social media platform X.

Zelenskyy said facilities on both sides of the Kerch Bridge were hit, including maritime logistics infrastructure in the Krasnodar region and an oil depot in Kerch.
