MAKKAH, May 18 — Saudi Arabia’s security patrols in Makkah arrested an Egyptian man and woman for committing fraud and deception by publishing fake and misleading advertisements for Haj services via social media platforms, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Following the arrest, legal procedures were taken against them, and they were referred to the Public Prosecution.
Saudi Arabia’s Public Security called on everyone to comply with the Haj regulations and instructions, and to promptly report violators by calling (911) in the regions of Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. — Bernama-SPA
