Lebanon’s National News Agency, citing the Health Ministry, said an Israeli strike on the town of Ain Baal in the Tyre district killed one person and injured seven others, including three women.

Another strike targeting a house in Louaizeh in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region killed three people, while a separate attack on a car along the Kfardjal–Nabatieh road left two more dead.

In a separate incident, two civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli raid carried out shortly after midnight between Thursday and Friday. Among the wounded was Hussein Ali Ahmad, mayor of Shoukin.

The strikes caused extensive destruction to residential buildings and significant damage across affected neighborhoods.

Israel has continued military operations in Lebanon since March 2, following retaliatory exchanges linked to the Iran conflict, with Lebanese authorities reporting more than 2,600 deaths and over 1.6 million people displaced.

A 10-day ceasefire that began on April 17 was later extended until May 17, but Israeli airstrikes and demolitions have continued despite the truce.
