Hind Al Soulia - Riyadh - MANAMA — Bahrain said early Saturday that four citizens were injured and several homes were damaged by falling shrapnel following the interception of Iranian drones.

The Interior Ministry said the injuries were minor and occurred in the Sitra area, where shrapnel from intercepted drones caused damage to residential properties.

“The Civil Defence and National Ambulance are carrying out their procedures at the site,” the ministry said in a statement.

Authorities added that warning sirens had sounded five times since early Friday, urging residents to move to safe locations.

The ministry also reported that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 188 missiles and 445 drones since Feb. 28, describing the attacks as part of ongoing aggression against the kingdom.
